Playing with the iPhone...There's a Nap for That :)

Well, I'm finally home!  I took a quick look around and am really excited!

All the fun made me a little sleepy, so after I got a chance to play with an iPhone for the first time, someone said "there's a nap for that!"  Mommy was nice enough to let me hold her iPhone while I went to sleep :)

One Week Birthday!

Hi everyone!

I'm finally one week old! The hospital people have been so nice to me that they insisted I stay a little longer, so I'll hopefully have more photos soon when I'm at home.

I've learned a lot during this first week! Spent a lot of time with my Mommy and Daddy and they've been giving me a little history of my family and friends. There's some really nice people I'm looking forward to meeting!

The nurses have been really nice, still keep using the word "cute" quite often, but for the most part, I've been sleeping a lot. There are other babies at the hospital, too. Hmm, I wonder if any of them will be in my class at school someday :)

I'm doing really great and looking forward to being home! Hope everyone is also doing well!

What Really Makes Babies Laugh :)

During my first week, I had a nice talk with one of the nurses at the hospital. She explained a little bit about how communication works between babies and big people.

She told me to expect that big people love to make funny sounds when they talk to us babies, so if you wonder why babies laugh so much, it's because some of you big people sound really funny when you make funny sounds!

My Birthday!

My Life - Day 1

Greetings! My name is Rayyan and today is my birthday!

I was born at 5:09pm at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, Illinois!

My Mommy and I are healthy, but just a little tired so that's why my first official photo is with me sleeping :)

My Dad and family said we will put up more pictures soon, but I just wanted to thank everyone for all the nice thoughts and good wishes! I'm really looking forward to seeing all of you!
